White water rafting

If running white water rapids takes your fancy, what better than trying your hand at the sport in the Himalayan rivers. 

India ’s rafting stretches are mainly on the rivers Beas, Sutlej, Mahakali  and Ganges, of which the Ganges is considered the safest.

A number of rivers have been run by enthusiasts, but the most popular waters remain the Ganga neat Rishikesh, the Indus in Leh and the Zanskar in the valley of the same name.Imagine after a day's rafting, sitting by the camp fire on a sandy beach by the banks of the Zanskar or Indus river.

Facilities existing at the Andanman Beach Resort and the Bay Island at Port Blair, and the Bangaram Beach resort in the Lakshadweep , which has some of the best diving spots in the world.
